February 13, 2025: DSSHosting/Fort Family Community Upgrade!!!

Hi Everyone!

 
Just a quick notice to let you know that we are in the process of backing up all our hosting packages for an upcoming migration to newer, faster servers. Of course this means a bump up in the service you are receiving and to the average visitor, just another day at the office. LOL!
 
What is needed from you? In all honesty, I would encourage all Fort Family Site Owners to be sure that all updates to your site get put on hold starting Monday 02/17 as that will be when I plan to do our last full backup and final cleanup of all posted work throughout our network of sites. Then the physical move is planned for 02/20 at which point in time a new snapshot is going to be taken and migrated to the new server. Allowing for 48 hours for DNS servers to catch up, we will be settled in by the end of next week and can resume normal operations.
 
So sit back and watch one of the coolest things to happen to a website, show no real evidence that anything has actually happened by just visiting. That's the plan :)

What better way to start a new year than a chapter of my very oldest story of all? That's right. The Creator's Intent has been updated with Chapter 5. Hope you enjoy the new chapter and no matter what else may be going on in this crazy world, I hope you have as wonderful and peaceful a new year as you possibly can.

Ok, so this is probably the last chapter of this little story because I honestly just don't know where else it could go from here. If you disagree, I guess you'll just have to email your ideas. That is NOT a case of me threatening to end a story if I don't get email. I would never do that. I just think this one has run its course. Anyway, have fun reading and I hope you are all having wonderful holidays no matter which ones you celebrate.
